Hey all!

Just a couple of reminders and a heads up about our next swim meet opportunity as we head into the holiday break.

First our practice schedule...we just have 3 practices to go until the new year! We have tomorrow, and then next week, we will just be having practice on Monday and Tuesday nights. From there, we will follow the USD 418 calendar and be on break until Thursday, January 5th, which will be our first practice of 2023. 

Also, that leads right into our next swim meet opportunity, the True Blue Igloo, hosted by Topeka Swim Association, to be held on the weekend of January 7-8. Entries are due by Monday, December 26th at noon. The meet information is attached here for full details. Sign-up is available on the website as of now, and will automatically close at noon on the 26th.

Let me know if you have any issues, and please don't forget to indicate if you are only attending one day or if both.

Also, with minimal practice leading up to this meet, I would not recommend this for first timers. Even for our experienced swimmers, if you wish to attend, I would HIGHLY encourage them to get some additional pool time the week before this meet. Since we only have the one official practice, getting extra time in the water will be key, and I would be happy to supply a workout, just let me know if interested in that!  Since this wouldn't be an official practice, swimmers would need to be members of the YMCA or willing to pay the daily fee, and attend during an open lap swim time.
