Hey all!

Well it was just a fantastic weekend at Districts in Wichita.  We had 6 swimmers attend, and between both days, all 6 swimmers made it to finals in at least one event...that is something that we haven't had happen before!!!  A job very well done to Cooper Bohme, Ryan Divelbess, Jayce Jennings, Harper Kendrick, Asher Morales, and Eleanor Walline. 

Cooper took the bronze in the 200 Free, and also took 7th in the 100 Free, and 8th in the 50 Free.

Ryan had a top finish of 4th in the 100 Back, and also placed 8th in the 50 Free.  This was Ryan's first ever District meet.

Jayce made finals in all 6 of his events, winning gold in 100 Back. He got silver in both 100 Breast and 50 Back, took 5th in 50 Free and 100 IM, and 6th in 50 Fly.  He earned Championship qualifications in 100 Back, 100 Breast, and 50 Back.

Harper Kendrick in her first District meet, took 5th in 50 Back.

Asher Morales also made it to finals in all 6 of his swims.  He took home the silver in 50 Free, 100 Breast, and 50 Back.  He picked up the bronze in 50 Fly, then took 6th in 50 Breast, and 7th in the 100 Free.  He earned Championship qualifiers on 50 Free, 100 Breast, and 50 Back

Eleanor Walline made her District debut, and earned the bronze in 50 Back, and took 5th in the 100 Back.

Great work everyone!  We will keep practicing through the end of the month prepping for the MVS Championship meets, but all who are signed up for February are of course still welcome to attend.
